Another day started with a smoothie, the goodness of coconut, 1/4 frozen orange, banana, and greens quickly blended.
I was busy running around grocery shopping and literally running at the gym, so I just had a protein shake for lunch. My raw organic mix is excellent.
Made up for my calorie deficit with a large pasta dish (I'll remember to only cook up 1 cup of pasta next time), I was a little too full. Pasta, sauce and broccoli mixed in. Super quick and easy!
Oh and salad! Of course. Got to get those 5 fruit and veggie servings.
Also got to try out my newest purchase: Nutritional Yeast. I'm going to try making a vegan Mac and cheese next weekend, but I couldn't help sprinkling some on my pasta and it was excellent.
Exercise- Ran 22 minutes on a 0-1 incline, 5-5.5 speed. I'm increasing my cardio by a minute each day, then working at a continuous 30 minutes with weight training each day from then on.
I was really craving pizza today, but I realized I was just cranky from hunger. Veganism is difficult, but so worth it if you remember why you started and what you hope to accomplish. I'll take my vitamins, then probably have some tea or lemon water.
