Today's day off consisted of lounging lakeside at a camp my friends let me spend time at when I have downtime. (Wonderful friends who are too busy to spend much time relaxing and are very generous with all they have.)
Bodies of water are always a great place to go for some R&R. I used my time wisely, doing two things I love: cooking and reading.

Here is a picture of where I sat most of the day staring off into the horizon and getting caught up in my latest read: The Holographic Universe.
Sleeping bag on a camp chair? Oh yes! Good book read under the shade of a tree? Please!

The water was a bit too choppy for my liking, so instead of swimming, I opted for some cooking with the latest harvest.
On the eclectic menu: (which I also left for my dear friend so she wouldn't need to cook after a long day)
...And alll organically grown with love
Salad of butter crunch lettuce, cucumber, chives, parsley and nasturtium blossoms
Herbed mashed potatoes
Garlic and balsamic roasted green beans
Macaroni and cheese with fresh tomatoes

Overall, even though I didn't wander far from the farm, today was an adventurous day in other ways.
Peace, love, and harmony
Today's thoughts:
May you always show gratitude to those you love in your life and loveliness will follow.
Use what you have and be thankful for it, never taking things for granted.
