I love doing fun and informative things with my friends and family...add in nature and you've got a perfect day.
Sebago Lake Ecology Center provides loads of information on water runoff, pollution, nature, wildlife, and what we can do locally to keep our community and ourselves healthy (I really want to browse all of their books and see their displays).
There is also a garden, which is set up to aid against water runoff and pollution. Anyone interested in eco-friendly landscaping should visit.
Bonus: The pathways are lined with lily of the valley in the spring (one of my favorite flowers!!).
Caution: I've heard there can be ticks there, so dress appropriatly.
Directions: Standish, where route 237 intersects route 35.
Open M-F 8-4
